A friend of mine recently adopted a lab from an elderly neighbor. Knowing I work for PETCO, she called to ask what her new dog “Mollie” needed. We met at PETCO to go shopping with Mollie. As we walked throught the store, I realized she had put more thought into toys and beds and never considered what food to feed Mollie.  She mistakenly thought most foods were about the same. I corrected her and said that feeding the right food could help Mollie live a longer, healthier life and potentially prevent common health issues.
