You’re welcome to skip the bottom of this post, past my incoherent ramblings, if you just want to see how you can win a gift card.
Alright, confession time. I’m always secretly disappointed when I open a birthday/Christmas card and a hefty little gift card or fluttery check doesn’t come tumbling out. I also get a little depressed (but I won’t show it) when I receive an actual, wrapped gift. If you’re giving me a physical gift that means the card attached to it only contains words.
Let’s be honest, the only person who knows what I REALLY want is me. In fact, it’s a little presumptuous of you to guess what I want don’t you think? Look, I don’t know even know what I want half the time.
However, I can understand the aversion to just handing someone a wad of greasy bills and saying Merry Christmas / Happy Hanukkah / Enjoy your Festivus. There’s a certain crassness to it.
So what’s the solution? Gift cards of course. A gift card says “I won’t presume to know what you actually want, but I can at least guess the store you like to shop at.”
If there’s a pet lover in your life, give them a PETCO gift card. It’s a no-brainer.
- They can use PETCO gift cards online or in a PETCO store.
- Besides PETCO stores, you can now buy them at 21,000 third-party locations, including CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens.
- You can even buy one right now and there’s no shipping fee.
Seriously, they’re an awesome gift, and I’m not just saying that because I work for PETCO (well, it’s part of the reason).
To show you I’m not bluffing I’ve been authorized to give away 10 (count em’ 10) $100 PETCO gift cards.
To win, just leave a comment on this post by Sunday (12/19) describing how you would spend $100 at PETCO. I’ll pick 10 people at random to win $100 PETCO gift cards. Good deal right?
