The Coolest Pet Pad Contest is going on at petco.com right now. If the picture of your “pet’s pad” is voted on as the 
coolest you can win your share of a $1000 in prizes.
After looking through some of the submissions I started to feel bad for the dog I grew up with, Bailey. Not only did she not have her own “pet pad”, I don’t think she even had her own bed. Her spot was pretty much wherever my mom was.
Some of the submissions so far are pretty impressive. There are entire mini houses built for dogs and mansions constructed just for hamsters! When looking at these submissions, one thing is for sure: these people care about their animals. For them, it’s not just a pet; it’s a family member, who gets their own special place to call home.
