Sure, they post testimonials on their site about how fabulous they are but I'd love to hear from a 'real' person that may or may not have had to use their services yet. I had a friend call me with the same upsetting story. The next day I called Trupanion and got insurance for my 6 1/2 year old Boxer. If I had to go through what they are I don't know what I would do. Now I know I am covered and have options. It is a huge relief and weight lifted off your shoulders and I highly recommend it. I can sympathize with you. Although it did not cover long term treatment for one, it has covered thousands of dollars in surgeries for another & emergency care/surgery for another. Anyone that has pets should have insurance. It costs me $100 a month to insure all three. One surgery cost $4600.00 plus $1200 for rehab therapy... In my opinion it's worth it but then again, if I didnt have insurance I would do whatever I had to, to make sure they were vetted. I have all of my dogs insured.
