Today is the big day–The day the Guinness Book World Record Breaking float with a Guinness World Recording breaking dog, who will be snowboarding live on the float will make its way down the five and a half mile route through the streets of Pasadena. The excitement here in Pasadena from Natural Balance and PETCO team is high.
And what does superstar Tillman have to say about all of this?

Re:New Year’s Day (Rose Bowl Parade) Petco float design -
If I were to design a float for next year’s New Year’s Day parade in Pasadena, it would feature gigantic black lab in the back with a mock fireplace complete with an animated fire in it behind him, (dog in standing position, animated wagging tail (motorized), Petco toy bone in its huge mouth, & next to the black lab a kitty decorated with a big red Christmas bow, in a playing pose, big ball of yarn in front of it on the float. Then off to the side would be a big bowl full of “milk” (for the kitty) & one with dog food in it. There wold be a large perch with giant parrot sitting on it (motorized wings moving up & down) – the parrot could be made from red, green, blue, etc. carnations. I would include a huge white domestic rat, also with a nice bow green one), sitting up on a mock stair banister situated on one side of the float, maybe looking down at the cat. The rat could be made from small white roses maybe. How about a little (large) aquarium with a pair of pretty angelfish with waving fins & a couple of animated neon fishes. On the front of the float I would have 2 or 3 people with a couple of real animals (trained doggies doing some tricks like catching frisbees would be good). And that would be my float for New Year’s 2011!

I hope he wasn’t out late the night before. Can impact the performance. Its tough do well on the 1st when your out partying the night before….
