That’s right…somehow Jenna convinced me that we NEEDED a fish. We talked about it for days and days (and days) yet her determination and enthusiasm to get a fish never dwindled. (She is 3 after all, and enthusiasm is limitless.) Jenna would not be deterred by my educational reminders about having to check on, talk to and feed a pet without fail. Finally, I gave in and we were off to our local PETCO store to find our newest family member.  Before We found Picano (pronounced peek-ah-noh) at our Clairemont store location. A guy is driving around the back woods of Montana and he sees a sign in front of a broken down shanty-style house: “Talking Dog For Sale ” He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in the backyard. The guy goes into the backyard and sees a nice looking Labrador retriever sitting there. “You talk?” he asks. “Yep,” the Lab replies. I don’t know if it is because I work for PETCO or because I’m a known animal lover but I absolutely LOVE that people send me pet related humorous emails. Knowing how they make me smile (and since I don’t have all our blog readers email addresses to forward an email …kidding) I thought I’d post a cute email I got this week for you all to share.
