Yesterday, I was in LA for the day for business and to attend The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Recently, Ellen became part owner of Halo, Purely for Pets — a terrific line of all-natural, holistic pet food wecarry at PETCO, which Ellen feeds to her own pets. We’ve been working with Ellen and Halo’s teams to re-launch the Halo brand at PETCO stores nationwide starting this weekend. Starting Sunday, March 2, all Halo products will be 20% off at all PETCO stores and on PETCO.com

I had loads of fun at the taping! I’ve met Ellen several times before and she is absolutely delightful (check out my picture). The show airs today, Friday February 29th 2008. I have recently discovered the Halo brand, and I love it. Our cat, Mandy loves it too. I found out about it by accident, as I was doing a search online for cat food recipes that I could make at home. The Halo website gives cat food recipes, and explains what types of food cats need, versus dogs, etc. We had just got Mandy, who was sick, and not eating well, until we started her on Spot’s Stew. She is well now, and loves the food. (Although I still feed her baby food, too). I am so glad that I found Halo. It’s real food, even a person could eat it. Above all, using their info, I was able to give Mandy the nourishment she needed to get well. Thanks for your post.
